Updated October 31, 2026. Prices below were checked on MailerLite’s and Brevo’s pricing pages on October 31, 2026.
MailerLite and Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) are two of the most affordable email platforms for small businesses, but they charge in different ways. MailerLite prices mainly by how many subscribers you have. Brevo prices mainly by how many emails you send each month. That difference decides which one costs less for you.
The short answer
- Choose MailerLite if you email your list regularly and want automations, landing pages and a website builder at a low monthly price.
- Choose Brevo if you send occasional campaigns, want transactional emails or SMS in the same tool, or prefer paying by emails sent.

Pricing compared
For a small list you email often, MailerLite is usually cheaper. Comfort at 1,000 subscribers is $19 a month on monthly billing and includes 10,000 emails a month plus automations. Brevo’s Starter plan is cheaper on paper ($8.08 a month billed yearly for 5,000 emails), but its plan builder pairs the smaller tiers with limited contacts (500 at 5,000 emails), automations need Standard, and removing Brevo’s logo is an add-on on Starter. For a large list you email once or twice a month, Brevo’s pricing by emails sent can come out ahead. See the full breakdowns in MailerLite pricing and Brevo pricing.
Where MailerLite wins
- Automations from the free plan. Up to 3 automations free, and 50 on Comfort.
- Websites and landing pages included. A website builder and landing pages come with every plan.
- No branding fee. Comfort removes the MailerLite logo at no extra cost.
- Simple pricing. Every paid plan has the full feature set; you pay more only for a bigger list or more sending.
Where Brevo wins
- Pay by sending, not list size. Good for big lists you email occasionally.
- More channels in one place. Email and transactional messages on every paid plan, with SMS and WhatsApp available.
- A free plan without a subscriber cap. Send up to 300 emails a day once your account is approved.
- Strong segmentation on Starter. Advanced segmentation is included from the entry paid plan.
Our verdict
For most small businesses sending a regular newsletter with a welcome series or other automations, MailerLite is the better value. Brevo makes more sense for businesses with a large list they email only occasionally, or that want transactional email and SMS alongside marketing.
