How this affects our recommendations
It doesn’t decide them. We choose what to recommend based on what fits a small business owner’s needs, including price, ease of use, features and support. We include tools we don’t earn anything from when they’re the right fit, and we point out the downsides of tools we do earn from.
Companies cannot pay to be included in our comparisons or to change our ratings.
